The Black Abolitionist Directive is a Black led grassroots organization based in the Capital Region of New York, centered in Black, Brown and LGBTQIA+ liberation through Abolition, Decolonization, Mutual Aid, Education and Direct Action.
Our mission as an organization and collective is to support and uplift marginalized communities across the United States as a collective of Black Queer organizers, educators, healers, artists and activists.
We work to combat the multidimensional branches of White Supremacy on a systemic and day to day level by not only responding but organizing preemptively around issues that impact Black and Black Diasporan communities. In trying to remove and eliminate obstacles, we operate from a trauma informed, harm reductionist point of view.
