Who Is b.A.D?
Since 2021, the Black Abolitionist Directive has been organizing in and across numerous communities surrounding issues brought forward by people within said communities through Direct Action (Protests, Community events and pop-ups, Cookouts, Speak-outs and Sit-ins, etc.), Mutual Aid (Fundraising, Skill Sharing, Food and Clothing swaps and donations, etc.), Education (Community/Public events, Virtual Teachings and Discussions, Consultant work for organizations and businesses for Anti-Racism/LGBTQIA+ etc. trainings, etc.) and more.
Aside from our work as one organization, B.A.D has also been in coalition with numerous other grassroot organizations and groups across the nation, standing in solidarity with marginalized people nationally and globally. While we stand in solidarity with the entire Black diaspora worldwide, we seek to uplift the unique experience of Black Americans/ADOS as a priority.
